About Diversity Veteran FC

Since its founding in 2015, Diversity Veteran FC has grown into far more than a soccer club; it has become a true cornerstone of community spirit, inclusion, and connection. With a proudly diverse membership, the club welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities, creating a space where everyone feels valued both on and off the field.

Diversity FC is well known throughout the community for its active involvement in friendly matches with local teams and cultural groups across the province, strengthening relationships and fostering unity through sport. Beyond local engagement, the club has represented its community on larger stages, including the Canada National Veterans Tournament, where Diversity FC has proudly captured the championship title twice in four years.

Partnership lies at the heart of the club’s mission. Over the years, Diversity FC has collaborated with numerous community organizations and businesses to support positive initiatives, promote healthy living, and create meaningful opportunities for connection. The club continues to break barriers and set new standards by participating in cultural events, building strong partnerships, and consistently demonstrating a welcoming and inclusive spirit.

Off the field, Diversity FC has made a lasting impact by championing empowerment and diversity in sport. The club hosts annual Women’s Day celebrations and actively engages children and youth through summer soccer and volleyball programs. Diversity FC takes pride in nurturing unity and a sense of belonging across all ages and backgrounds.

Recently, Diversity FC was honoured with an award at the Crown Awards in recognition of its community and social impact. Its journey stands as a powerful testament to passion, perseverance, purpose, and legacy—as the club continues to do more to support and uplift the community, especially newcomers.
